This beach house on Lake Cavanaugh in Chelsea, Michigan, is a vacation home for a family and their frequent guests. To maximize the comfort and entertainment value a two-story family room and walk out level were added to the original house, featuring oversized windows that allow unobstructed views of the lake. The upstairs bedrooms open to an interior glass balcony that overlooks the room below.
